Sooty exhaust tip... normal?
My exhaust tip is pretty sooty, not like a diesel, but just making me question it. It is carbon build up, definitely not oil. So, what is yours like?

The stock 4.0L in my ZJ has some soot, but the stroker in my XJ has quite a bit more.

when i met my wife her cavalier had a chrome tip. 2 yrs of me beating that poor little car and its black. all the SOS in the world wont make it chrome again

The Gibson SS tip on my exhast looks like a coal stack on a locomotive.
You can get more power out of ANY engine!!!
