Clifford intake manifold?

Post by MunkMaster »

Just curious but would the Clifford intake that is meant for the carbed 4.0s work with efi with some figuring out. and if so would it really do anything different and or better than the newer model intake manifold?

You could potentially adapt that manifold for EFI, but why bother when you can get an '00+ intake for a fraction of the cost? You could do the reverse and adapt the late model intake for a carb set-up.

That's the route I am going I was just a little curious. I always liked the settup that we're just a little different than the rest.

Yes easy enough if you want to go Fuel injected but not do a complete conversion...

If I were to build a CJ again with a 4.0L stroker conversion I would go with this FAST EFI kit...
