compression?
i have an 87 yj with the 258 in it, carb swap and Hei already. i think it sat a while and its got 2 holes with excessive blow by i have confirmed its got some rings carboned up or stuck. this winter im going to yank the head and oil pan and re ring it. now im always one of those while its apart guys, so its going to get a cam and was going to throw some Higher compression pistons in it while it was apart nothing more than what's stated not trying to make 300 hp or anything just looking to make it a little peppier. im beginning to learn that those don't seem to exist, so what are you all dong to bump up the compression a little

Re: compression?
A '91-'98 4.0L head swap would bump up the compression since its chambers are smaller and since it far outflows the 258 head, there's a useful performance gain too.
