Renix 5.0

Im in the middle of restoring my 87 MJ and currently trying to decide if i want to stroke the 4.0 while its out or just rebuild it back stock. Im very much leaning to a 5.0 if i do, or potentially a 4.7, only being driven on weekends and or to car shows, my main question is, how does the renix system do with 5.0s, let alone 4.7s? I've found very little information on them, and the ones I've read have been 50/50 that they work great or a major pain to tune.
Any advice?

curious to see where this discussion goes.
Just talked with a recommended shop here in BC about getting a stroker build done. They build 4.7's on the renix motor, quoted me 6700 canadian and that's with me doing the removal and install. Mines a renix 4.0 in a 89 xj

Ask yourself if it's really worth spending a shed load of money to build a 5.0L stroker only to strangle it with restrictive stock Renix hardware (throttle body, intake manifold, cylinder head, exhaust manifold, exhaust system, and a non-tuneable Renix EFI system).
