Oil pump pickup to pan clearance
What is the recommend oil pump pickup to pan clearance? I have a little over 1/8" w/o the gasket.
2000 XJ. 4.6L stroker

1/8" is to close, it should be 3/8" IIRCC, I always level it with the pan rail and have never had any problems.
You can get more power out of ANY engine!!!
