Eliminating 258 starter solenoid on 4.0 head/efi swap?
I recently converted my 258 to EFI with the 4.0 head, cam, etc, along with AX15 and NP249. However, I want to clean things up a bit and wire the 4.0 starter in the way it was originally for a 4.0, and eliminate the solenoid in the engine compartment. How can I do this? I have the correct fuses and relays installed for it, but the smaller black/green wire from the starter is way too thick to appear to match up correctly with the wires on the PDC... Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
